Tesla Wall Connector Installation in Seattle

The Wall Connector is the fastest home charging a Tesla can get — up to 48 amps and 44 miles of range per hour. We install it hardwired, permitted, and commissioned on your Wi-Fi, usually within the week.

What's Included

Every Tesla Wall Connector install covers the full job: a free load calculation, the Seattle or King County electrical permit, a dedicated 60-amp breaker for full 48-amp output, the wire run from panel to mounting location, hardwiring and mounting, Wi-Fi commissioning and Tesla app pairing, and the final city inspection.

If your panel can't support a 60-amp circuit, we'll show you the options side by side: a smaller breaker at reduced amperage (often plenty for overnight charging), a load-management device, or a panel upgrade — with honest pricing on each.

Typical cost: $900–$2,400 for labor and materials, plus the Wall Connector hardware (~$475 from Tesla). Panel distance is the biggest variable.

Two Teslas? Power sharing.

We install paired Wall Connectors configured to share one circuit. Both cars charge overnight without doubling your panel load — one of the biggest advantages the Wall Connector has over a NEMA outlet.

Wall Connector vs. NEMA 14-50 Outlet

Plenty of Tesla owners ask whether to hardwire the Wall Connector or install a NEMA 14-50 outlet for the Mobile Connector. The short version:

Choose the Wall Connector if…

You own your home, plan to keep the car a while, want the fastest charging (48A vs 32A), want app control and charging stats, or may add a second Tesla. It's the cleaner install and the better long-term value.

Choose a NEMA 14-50 if…

You're renting, planning to move soon, or want the lowest upfront cost. The outlet stays; the Mobile Connector moves with you. See our NEMA 14-50 installs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you install the Wall Connector Tesla sells, or supply your own?

Either. Most customers order the Wall Connector from Tesla (~$475) and we install it. If you'd rather we supply the unit, we'll include it in the quote at cost.

Can the Wall Connector be installed outdoors in Seattle weather?

Yes — the Wall Connector is rated for outdoor installation. We mount it with weatherproof routing and sealed penetrations. Rain, moss, and 40 years of Seattle drizzle are all accounted for.

Do I need a 60-amp breaker?

Only for the full 48-amp charge rate. The Wall Connector can be configured for smaller circuits (40A, 30A, even 15A) if your panel is tight. Most commuters find 32A entirely sufficient for overnight charging — we'll size it to your panel and your actual driving.

How long does the install take?

Typically 3 to 5 hours for a garage near the panel. Detached garages or long runs can take a full day.
